As many of you have heard, we recently announced a leadership transition at WAP.
Mari and I have been leading WAP as co-CEOs for the past few years. Now, things are changing. Mari will be transitioning into a role as Owner/Partner at WAP and out of day-to-day operations.
She has an opportunity to pursue a dream to consult for other companies, expand her speaking and training career, and has even considered starting a new healthcare technology company.
Here’s what you can expect:
- Mari remains dedicated to the business all of us have built together, and she will continue to be instrumental in WAP’s future. Mari will continue to serve as a guiding force on the leadership team and participate in owner meetings with Mel and Paul.
- She will continue to provide valuable input, advice, and consulting to agents through our monthly agent trainings and our annual WAPCon event.
- I will continue to serve as CEO as well as an Owner/Partner. I will continue to build on the culture of service and innovation that you’ve come to expect from WAP. I have confidence in our team, and I am certain that our future is in excellent hands. My goal is to ensure that this change is seamless for you, and all our agents and carriers.
Of course, we (and all of you) will miss Mari’s daily involvement. At the same time, we fully support her desire to spread her wings and contribute to the world beyond the scope of our family business. Please join us in congratulating Mari for taking a courageous next step.
